We need transportation, yes. But we don't need to make a status symbol / phallic symbol out of our method of transport. It's our big ego's that get us into trouble. If it weren't for that, we'd all be driving the cheapest car possible. And cheapest often (though not always) translates into better for the environment.

So be willing to drive a practical car, rather than an impressive one. And girls, stop giving dating preference to guys driving big fancy cars and let them know that a prius is sexy too.

Oh, yeah, without cars, where would we stick our liberal minded bumper stickers to get the word out?
